JCLA was formed in 1997. A geographical background informs the practice, specialising in sustainable site-specific strategies and solutions for landscape development and restoration. Special interests include water systems, rivers and wetlands, wild spaces in the city, industrial archaeology and polyfunctional productive landscapes.
Projects have included nature reserves, historic landscape restoration, industrial and infrastructural landscapes, parks, woodlands and wetlands, housing estates, hotels, school grounds, sports and play facilities, museums and galleries, roof terraces, public realm and streetscape.
Recruitment
JCLA are looking for a recent graduate Landscape Architect, ideally with a Masters in Landscape Architecture, to join our small, creative and diverse team. The position will also be considered for those currently enrolled on a Masters course for their year out in placement.Candidates will ideally be experienced in Vectorworks (primarily 2D, with 3D as a bonus), proficient in Adobe InDesign / Photoshop and with excellent hand sketching and written communication skills. We can consider either full time 5 days or part time 4 days/week employment at our studio in south London, with competitive salary and holiday benefits.
